New H&M Conscious Kids

My top picks from H&M’s sustainably produced kid’s collection

Oh look at these beauties! Just had a quick look at H&M’s conscious range for kids and there are so many lovely things just in. Lots of great basics with a twist that look a lot more expensive than they really are. I love the fact that the Conscious collection only uses sustainably sourced cotton and fabrics and that H&M are striving to make all the cotton they use in all their collections entirely sustainable by 2020. Of all the high street brands H&M seem to be doing the most to address ethical production and the subject of global warming. Or is it just that their PR around this subject is particularly good? I’d love to hear about more high street companies tackling the problems surrounding fashion’s negative effects on the environment. I’m definitely trying to shop more ethically for my kids at the moment but I don’t have a huge budget (still brassic after Christmas!) so, as well as shopping with independent businesses where possible, I hope this range is at least a step in the right direction.

Here’s my edit of my favourite Conscious pieces online – all available up to age 4, apart from the cloud set, which is for babies only.
