My mother got stretch marks and as I have super dry skin (it snows when I take my trousers off) I fully expected to get them too but strangely they didn’t appear. Conversely, friends who have lovely oily, olive skin have got them quite badly. Is it luck of the draw or did the fact that I religiously rubbed in oil throughout both my pregnancies help? Who knows but rubbing oil into your bump is actually a lovely ritual that really connects you with your growing baby and these three oils smell really cosseting and uplifting. My favourite was the Mama Mio  – the smell is really warming (I would wear that smell as a perfume if I could) and the Clarins one feels really indulgent and luxe at a time when you really do want a bit of pampering. I didn’t use the Pure Mum to Be one as it wasn’t around when I was pregnant but I have been testing it as a body oil and love the smell, the texture, the fact that it is 100% free from artificial colours and fragrances and parabens and mineral oils and the great price  – I would definitely recommend it.
