I made a cake!

It has been a busy weekend. I tidied the bedroom of shame (mine, sorry ours) and it was the school summer fair. Naturally I left all my baking until the last possible moment and spent a frenzied hour throwing flour and icing sugar all over the kitchen. And then I managed to make two cakes! One for the school and this one for my cleaning lady of 6 years who is going back to Bulgaria to open an eco-retreat. Yes, I know – it sounds like a spoof middle class crisis that you’d find on The Sunday Times problem page.
