I knew things were really bad when I passed a five pound note through a hedge to buy a dress off a washing line (it was a yard sale not just a random “hello I really like that dress can I make you an offer?”). I put my hands up. I am shopping again. I am out of control. I  think the 100% shopping ban was just too much for me – it made the adrenaline soar higher than ever and I bought EVERYTHING. From now on I am going to try to shop in moderation and my monthly shopping round-ups will have to become what I have bought and what I would like to buy. I still haven’t worn the dress off the washing line by the way.
