DRUMROLL: The Black and White Photo Wall is Complete!

It has taken about three years, 26 trips to Ikea, 12 substantial arguments with my picture hanger (husband) and multiple nights cursing over Snappy Snaps’ DIY order website but I, sorry we, have finally done it! The family photo wall is complete! I am so happy with it and love the fact that we now have the entire  family on display in all their monochrome glory – 1970′s pudding bowls and all.  

In a flat that I sometimes worry is so bright it looks like a primary school it feels really nice to take the colour down in the hallway  – a nice breather in between rooms. The belly basket has all the nappy change stuff in it so there is some function meeting form here too. Just in case you were worried. Like my husband. No you can’t park your bicycle in here. Sorry.

Junk shop table cost £10 and the jar was £15 from a stall at the farmer’s market

Back into brightness – the colour explosion (and all the mess) is just around the corner.
