Boden A/W Press Preview!

I nearly did an illegal today by grabbing armfuls of Boden kids clothes and running out the door of their A/W showroom. Luckily I managed to contain myself. Maybe it was the presence of the ACTUAL Johnnie Boden that shocked me out of my klepto state. He was very lovely and took down the details of this very blog. Hello Johnnie! The kids clothes are exceptional for Autumn/Winter and seem to have gone down a slightly softer, more subtle route  – less naive patchworking and clashing colours and more authentic retro prints and classic stripes. I will no doubt be falling off the shopping wagon with a bump come early September. For the grown-ups the two stand out pieces for me were a Crombie style camel coat with velvet trim and a super luxe leather man bag. I don’t think so daddy – that satchel’s got come to mamma written all over it.
